From its foundation in 1985 to the revolution of artificial intelligence, the history of Cis & Met Informatica is a journey of innovation and international success.

1985 - 1995

The Origins

In 1985, entrepreneur Teggi founded Met System, a company dedicated to software and hardware development. In 1992, the merger of Met System with three other partners gave rise to Cis & Met Informatica, thereby expanding the company’s expertise. During these early years, the company laid the foundation for its future growth and innovation.

1996 - 2005

Innovation and Partnerships

In 1998, CM-Logistica was born, the company's first software for warehouse management. In 2002, Cis & Met launched CM-Trasporti, a software designed for transportation planning and cost optimization in distribution. Two years later, in 2004, the company became a partner of SAP, directly integrating its systems with SAP. In 2006, Cis & Met established a partnership with OT-Group, a company specialized in process optimization.

2006 - 2015

International Expansion and New Products

In 2011, Cis & Met expanded into the European and Asian markets, solidifying its international presence. In 2013, the company opened an office in Brazil, establishing Cis & Met Tecnologia e Serviços. The following year, a partnership with Action Network led to integration with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In 2015, Cis & Met launched CM-Spedizioni, an evolution of CM-Trasporti, and CM-Portable, an app dedicated to logistics and transportation.

2016 - Today

Continuous Innovation and New Markets

In 2016, the company introduced CM-Suite, a solution that integrates all supply chain management software, making functionalities accessible via the web through CM-WebSuite. In 2018, Cis & Met launched CM-Blockchain, providing traceability certification. By 2022, the company entered the Australian market. Finally, in 2023, CM-AI was developed, featuring internally created artificial intelligence algorithms.
